Course # Date Time Deadline Fee Status Open Spots
Course Description
Toward the end of the 19th century, there was a push to establish a scientific psychology independent of theology. Religion and spirituality were banished from mainstream psychology until the emergence of transpersonal psychology in the 1960s, which affirmed spirituality as a fundamental aspect of human life. Today many people are looking for a therapist who will honor their search for depth and meaning through spirituality. This course will explore the integration of psychology and spirituality in therapeutic work and provide training in guided imagery as a form spiritual practice; a means of personal inquiry; and a method of self-care.
